We've arrived! Some of you may know the story -- some may not. But we're at a point in the MindOH! lifecycle where we can begin to recognize and appreciate the fruits of our labor, and we wanted everyone to know where we've been and where we're headed. And, we're hoping you'll join us for the journey.

MindOH! originated almost a year ago when six entrepreneurs -- Beth Carls, Stephen Haslam, Amy Looper, Leslie Matula, Rob Pennington and Dot Woodfin -- dedicated their resources to providing children with the necessary tools to develop strong character traits and healthy self-esteem. As the magnitude of the idea began to grow, the concept for MindOH! evolved from a "side project" to a genuine passion for all involved.

The Company has now completed their first three interactive, online modules in the Middle School Discipline Series(tm) - What's Up?, Rule 1 - Respect and Taking Charge - Responsibility. The next three modules, the Life Skills Series(tm), is in production and will be available in the fall. The Life Skills Series(tm) is designed for all students to help them learn how to keep their Minds over their Matters - not just for students involved in the disciplinary process.

We conducted a Beta study in three Houston middle schools April and May and are currently planning the launch of a Pilot phase in September 2001 in other Houston middle schools. Additionally, the MindOH! modules will be available for purchase nationally in September.

In addition to the energy of the product development team, the MindOH! marketing team has completed the first phase of our Web site at www.mindoh.com. We invite everyone to interact with the site and send us any comments you have. We will be launching the second phase of development for our Web site in September 2001.

MindOH! is also establishing an Advisory Committee to involve industry experts, educators, corporate influencers and other cross-disciplinary leaders in MindOH!'s future growth. The purpose of the Committee is to introduce diverse viewpoints and provide guidance to the Company. If this is something you would be interested in participating in, please respond to this email and we'll send you more information.

With the help of many generous individuals and a pool of talented partner companies such as Media Art Studio, Pastorini-Bosby, PR Randall, Project Wisdom, Resource International, and Sybil Media, MindOH! is ready to escalate our efforts to a new level. As Friends and Family, we'd like to take this opportunity to gather your ideas and tap into your networks. We're looking to add everyone from students, teachers and parents, to funding organizations, industry influencers, and character education specialists to our network of Friends and Family. If you know of somebody who would be interested in pursuing a mutually constructive and advantageous relationship with MindOH!, please get in touch by responding to this email.

We have also subscribed you to MindOH!'s monthly newsletter, OH! News -- feel free to forward the newsletter along to anyone who would be interested in hearing regularly about the Company. Or, people can sign up to receive OH! News by sending mail to news@mindoh.com with the word "subscribe" in the subject line. If you would prefer to not be a part of our mailing list, simply respond to this email with the subject line "unsubscribe".

Also, feel free to email any of the founders in the following format, firstname.lastname@mindoh.com, if you are interested in supporting MindOH! in another way. We're always looking for guest authors for marketing material, suggestions about our Web site and module topics, tips on events and resources in character education, and general support for the Company.

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. Together, we can facilitate the internal motivation for all people to think, feel and act ethically in any life event. And remember, keep your mind over your matters. It's up to you!
