MindOH! Launches the At Home Series
MindOH! announces the launch of its At Home Series (AHS) to extend the successful results of its school Discipline and Life Skills Series to families at home. Responding to consumer demand by teachers, administrators, parents and students who have requested a home version of the Series, MindOH! created a technology-based tool to help families respond to misbehaviors and teach life skills such as setting goals, resolving conflict and making wise choices.

As part of the AHS launch, MindOH! donated ten subscriptions to families in the Houston and Atlanta areas. Amy Looper, MindOH!'s co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer, was a guest on the radio talk show "The High-Tech Texan Show with Michael Garfield" on July 31st. The first five callers into MindOH! after a mention of the promotion won subscriptions. MindOH! also exhibited at the Houston Federation of Teachers contest in early August and conducted a raffle to donate five additional subscriptions to randomly-selected winners. MindOH! also extended an AHS subscription to the Gray family in Atlanta, whose son Daryl has been a victim of bullying.

In addition to the charitable donations of the AHS, families in Houston, Dallas and Washington D.C. have already purchased subscriptions to this unique set of high tech family resources that provides a safe, non- judgmental approach to handling discipline, teaching life skills and building character at home.

Teachers and parents say too many students are losing critical opportunities for learning -- and too many teachers are leaving the profession -- because of the behavior of a few persistent classroom troublemakers. Teachers in particular complain about the growing willingness of some students and parents to challenge teacher judgment and threaten legal action. But both teachers and parents support a variety of remedies, including stricter enforcement of existing rules of conduct, alternative schools for chronically disruptive students and limiting parents' ability to sue schools over disciplinary decisions.
